Chelsea are interested in signing Southampton’s Kyle Walker-Peters, with Thomas Tuchel looking to bring in a right-sided defender to compete with Reece James.
The club continued to strengthen on Tuesday when they agreed a deal to sign the 18-year-old Carney Chukwuemeka from Aston Villa, with the England Under-19 international given permission to travel to London to discuss personal terms and undergo a medical, and Tuchel is also pursuing several targets as part of a defensive rebuild.
