Fifa president Gianni Infantino has admitted that there has been a learning process following the OneLove armband controversy at the World Cup in Qatar. Captains from seven Uefa nations decided not to wear the armband, after the threat of sanctions from Fifa.
The OneLove armband was meant to be a gesture of support for the LGBTQ+ community, in a country where being homosexual is actively persecuted. Infantino said he expects a solution to be in place for the Women's World Cup this summer. He also addressed the potential for concussion substitutes, saying that they are waiting for more data on the issue before a decision is made
