Premier League clubs sang God Save The King before kick-off to mark the coronation of King Charles III on Saturday. Clubs were encouraged by the Premier League to play the anthem to celebrate the occasion with a number of Liverpool supporters booing the anthem as they have done since the 1980s, most recently during the 2022 FA Cup final.
