Sergio Reguilon has missed Arsenal’s Premier League clash against Arsenal due to a hamstring injury.

The 27-year-old has made seven Premier League appearances for Brentford since his loan move from Tottenham in the January transfer window.

Reguilon played a full game in Brentford’s 2-2 draw with Chelsea last Saturday but the Spaniard has been left out of the squad for his side’s trip to Arsenal on Saturday evening.

Brentford confirmed before kick-off that Reguilon is missing due to a hamstring injury and described the issue as ‘minor’.

The club have not yet confirmed whether the left-back will be available for their Premier League game away to Burnley next Saturday.

ARSENAL VS BRENTFORD TEAM NEWS

Arsenal: Ramsdale, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Kiwior, Jorginho, Rice, Odegaard, Saka, Trossard, Havertz.

Subs: Hein, Cedric, Zinchenko, Partey, Vieira, Smith Rowe, Nelson, Nketiah, Jesus

Brentford: Flekken, Zanka, Ajer, Collins, Norgaard, Lewis-Potter, Janelt, Roerslev, Onyeka, Wissa, Toney

Subs: Yarmoliuk, Jensen, Baptiste, Arthur, Damsgaard, Strakosha, Kim, Ghoddos, Maupay

Keane Lewis-Potter is brought in to replace Reguilon as Thomas Frank makes just one change from the draw with Chelsea last weekend.

Arsenal, meanwhile, have also been forced to make two changes from their 6-0 win over Sheffield United on Monday evening.

Gabriel Martinelli, who was forced off during that victory, has failed to recover from a cut on his foot and is replaced in the starting line-up by Leandro Trossard.

In goal, David Raya is ineligible to play against his parent club, which allows Aaron Ramsdale to make just his sixth start in the Premier League this season.
