^*^ Janelt makes Brentford point to cancel out Anthony Gordon’s Everton opener

Anthony Gordon gave Everton hope of a first win with a fine strike as Vitaly Janelt made honours even late on to ensure Brentford drew 1-1 with Everton.

Gordon shrugged off the noise surrounding a potential switch to Stamford Bridge with a well-taken first goal of the season.
