Brighton host Chelsea in the FA Cup fourth round on Saturday night and fans will need to scan their TV guides a little harder to watch the game on the right channel.

FA Cup coverage for the fourth round is split between the BBC and ITV, and a total of nine games can be watched live from Friday through to next Tuesday evening.

Brighton’s match against Chelsea is one of the fixtures that will be hosted by ITV, but with The Masked Singer being so popular on ITV1 on a Saturday evening, the FA Cup tie will not be shown on its flagship channel.

How to watch Brighton vs Chelsea? Kick-off time, TV channel and live stream

Brighton vs Chelsea team news

Enzo Maresca could be without both Nicolas Jackson and Marc Guiu for the trip to Brighton after they both picked up injuries in the 2-1 win at home to West Ham on Monday night.

Christopher Nkunku, who attracted interest from Bayern Munich and Manchester United in the January transfer window, could now lead Chelsea’s attack on Saturday night.

‘We have players,’ Maresca said. ‘Christo has played already as a No.9. I have had in the past Cole [Palmer] playing as a No.9, and we can find some different solutions.

‘It’s a bit unlucky our two strikers got injuries in the same game. Fortunately, the Nico one looks quite good and we haven’t decided on anything because we are still waiting to see about Nico. From there we start to think about different options.

‘We all agree that Christo’s perfect position is the No.10 position, but I’ve said many times we use Cole as a No.10 and if Christo wants to play just as a No.10 – or if Joao [Felix] wants to play just as a No.10 – they are going to struggle [for minutes]. So sometimes they have to adapt to play in different positions.

‘The reason why Christo is here is because we are convinced that he is a great player, a fantastic player, and he is going to help us until the end.’

Wesley Fofana and Benoit Badiashile are both long-term absentees for Chelsea, while Romeo Lavia is also unavailable.

Brighton, meanwhile, could be without influential midfielder Carlos Baleba, after he missed the 7-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest last weekend, while Mats Wieffer, Yasin Ayari and Pervis Estupinan are also doubts for the game.
